Renovation News

In June 2006, the library began a one-year renovation of its main floor. When the renovation is completed:

  • Harry H. Beren Center for Information Technology will still have computers. Additionally, the room will be accessible for 24 hour study and quiet conversation
  • Reading Room will be reconfigured with a combination of carrels, study tables, a quiet room, 5 group study rooms, and leisure seating
  • Reference/Circulation area will be streamlined with a combined service desk, photocopy/print corner, and quick reference computer stations

View the architects' plans. Check this page for updates on renovation progress. All attempts will be made to keep disruption to a minimum. We'll do our best to keep you informed of any changes that might affect your library use.
